Muktinath Darshan Pvt. Ltd. is a registered cable car company in Nepal since June 16, 1997 A.D. (2nd Ashad 2054 B.S.) in compliance with Nepal’s laws. The company is registered with the office of the Company Registrar (OCR), Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies under the Company Act, 2053 with registration no. 6909/2053/54. The company is dedicated to the exceptional cable car project linking Nayapul/Serabesi in Parbat district to the revered Muktinath Shrine in Mustang district, Gandaki Province, Nepal. This project enhances convenience and adventure for pilgrims and tourists, showcasing Nepal’s natural beauty, historical and cultural richness.

Project Overview

The upcoming cable car project will span an impressive 81.041 kilometers, starting from the scenic Serabesi station in Kaski and ending at the sacred destination of Muktinath. This engineering marvel will feature 20 stations, with 6 designated as mandatory boarding points for passenger safety and convenience. The remaining 14 stations will provide additional access points for adventurous travelers.

The journey begins in Serabesi, winding through picturesque mountain villages like Bhuka Ulleri, and the rejuvenating Tatopani hot springs. Passengers will witness breathtaking sights such as Ghodepani, Narchyang, and Rupse waterfall, as well as explore the mountain city of Lete in the Mustang district. The route also includes cultural stops at Marpha, Jomsom, and Kagbeni, culminating in a spiritual experience at the Muktinath Temple.

What sets this cable car project apart is its thrilling ascent. Starting at an altitude of 1,009 meters, it gradually climbs to a breathtaking 3,653 meters, covering an elevation gain of 2.64 kilometers. This unique journey promises awe-inspiring mountain ranges like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchchhre, Nilgiri and more.

This cable car venture marks a significant milestone as only the sixth of its kind in the world, showcasing remarkable innovation and ambition. With an estimated journey time of approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes, it offers unparalleled views and a convenient mode of transportation between Serabesi and Muktinath. The project ensures the safety of pilgrims and tourists, providing the safest transportation option in challenging terrains and road conditions.
